William Campbell Gallery (WCG) is pleased to announce the release of a comprehensive monograph covering WCG artist Howard Sherman—a leading figure in the contemporary painting scene of Texas and beyond. This lavishly illustrated publication delves deep into Sherman’s artistic achievements, providing a scholarly survey of his paintings, drawings, and assemblages made over the last two decades.

Titled Howard Sherman, the monograph is published by Smart New Art Publications (SNAP) and includes essays by Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth’s Chief Curator, Andrea Karnes; art historian Alex Bacon; and artcritical’s publisher and editor, David Cohen. In addition to the thoughtful essays, the volume is beautifully designed by Michael Motley and features over one hundred color images and comparative illustrations that showcase the artist’s most significant works and influences.

The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth will hold a book release and signing with the artist on October 27th from 5:00–6:30 PM. For more information about the event, please contact the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth or visit the event website at https://www.themodern.org/program/book-signing-howard-sherman.

The monograph is an essential addition to any art enthusiast’s collection. It will be available for purchase at both locations of William Campbell Gallery and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth bookstore, as well as through SNAP Editions at www.snapeditions.com. The price of the book is $60.
