William Campbell Gallery presents STILL LIFE, a solo exhibition by Billy Hassell featuring a new body of paintings that reconsider the relationship between landscape and still life. Drawing from field sketches, botanical studies, and memory, the work reflects a process rooted in close observation and thoughtful composition. Though the paintings often read as landscapes, they function with the intimacy of still lifes, blurring the boundary between the two genres. An opening reception will be held Saturday, March 28, in conjunction with FWADA Gallery Night, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
