Woodrow “Woody” Blagg Pop-Up Exhibition January 11–January 27

William Campbell Gallery artist Woodrow “Woody” Blagg passed away in April 2023, but left behind an incredible artistic legacy. Best known for his large-scale hyper-realistic drawings, Blagg captured the cowboy and ranching life of the American West in gorgeous graphite detail. Prior to his passing in 2023, Blagg began releasing a series of fine archival prints of his life’s work. These remarkable, limited edition prints are being shown together for the first time at WCG’s Byers Avenue location through January 27, 2024.

Blagg’s talent was appreciated far and wide, and his art even made an appearance at the White House. On the afternoon of June 22, 1982, Blagg met with former President Ronald Reagan in the Oval Office and presented him with a drawing titled Rain.

Woody’s talent was also greatly appreciated by design icon Ralph Lauren, who included several of Blagg’s pieces in his corporate and personal art collections.
